I am beyond thrilled to announce the release of my very first anthology as editor: Circus of the Dead — now available from Wicked Shadow Press!

This has been a dream project of mine — a dark, sinister vision of greasepaint and shadows, tent flaps and terror. I’ve always been fascinated by the surreal world of the circus and those stories that can lurk beneath the laughter and lights. What if the trapeze artist never came down? What if the clowns were too happy? What if the ringmaster had a contract with something that wears a human face only sometimes?

Well… now you don’t have to wonder.

With over 25 unique and unforgettable stories from some of the most imaginative voices in horror from around the world like Donovan Douglas Thiesson, Joshua Vise, Jasiah Witkofsky and many more, Circus of the Dead dives deep into the strange, the surreal, and the downright sinister. From haunted carousels to cursed carnivals, demonic animal acts to spectral sideshows, each story paints its own vision of the circus — not as a place of wonder, but of wickedness.

Working with Wicked Shadow Press to bring this anthology to life has been an incredible experience. Their dedication to the genre and fearless approach to boundary-pushing horror made them the perfect home for this collection. I’m deeply proud of what we’ve created together.
