A Milestone Worth Celebrating: My 25th Book!

Today marks a milestone I never imagined reaching: I’ve just placed my twenty-fifth published book on my shelf—a collection of works I’ve either written, edited, or contributed to. And that’s not even counting the digital-only pieces floating out there in the wild.

Twenty-five may not sound like much compared to authors who have hundreds of titles, but to me, it’s monumental. A few years ago, I couldn’t have imagined this moment. Every book represents long hours of writing, revising, and collaborating with talented editors and fellow authors. It reflects persistence through countless rejections and the commitment to keep improving my craft.

What makes me especially proud is that every one of these books was earned—not paid for. No vanity presses, no “reader fees,” just hard work and the willingness to hear “no” more times than I can count before finally getting to “yes.”

Being an author is challenging. In fact, I’ve learned that writing the story is often the easy part—getting it into readers’ hands takes just as much effort, if not more. But every step of this journey has been worth it, and I’m deeply grateful for everyone who has supported me along the way—publishers, editors, fellow writers, and, most importantly, readers. Which of my books or stories is your favorite? I’d love to hear from you.

Here’s to the next chapter, and hopefully many more to come.
