Visions of a Dark Horizon

I can’t believe I finally get to type these words: The first entry in my urban fantasy horror series, Providence Supernatural Crimes Unit, is officially out in the world.

This has been a dream years in the making – literally. Countless late nights, rewrites, edits, and moments where I wondered if I’d ever actually get here… and now, it’s real. People can hold this story in their hands, step into Providence, Rhode Island, and meet the team of detectives who protect their city from the things that go bump in the night.

Right now, the book is in limited release through Perspective Publishing. You can already find it on Bookshop.org, Amazon, Barnes & Noble , and Books-A-Million, and more stores are coming on board every day as the retail chain fulfillment process unfolds.

On September 30, the book will move into its full wide release, and from there, we’ll be rolling out signings, events, and more ways to celebrate together. I already have some signings scheduled, starting in October – those dates will be updated on the main Providence SCU Page here.

I can’t wait for you to meet Riley, Shippe, Rashid, Wendela, and the rest of the Supernatural Crimes Unit. They’ve lived in my head and heart for so long, and sharing them with you is both thrilling and a little surreal. My hope is that you’ll come to love this team as much as I do, and maybe even find a favorite among them.

Thank you so much to everyone who’s encouraged, supported, and cheered me on along the way. This is just the beginning of the SCU’s story, with Book 2 already slated for release in 2026! I’m beyond grateful to be able to share it with you.
