I’m thrilled to share that Whatever: A Gen X Flash Fiction Anthology is now available from the wonderful people at Altitude Press—featuring my story “Midnight Mixtape.”
While I almost always write horror, every once in a while I like to explore something a little sweeter, a little quieter—and that’s why I love working with Altitude Press. Their collections are always filled with heartfelt, beautifully written stories that capture the many shades of human experience.
My piece, “Midnight Mixtape,” is a (mildly) supernatural story about love, loss, and the ways those we care about can still reach out to us, even after they’re gone. It’s a story about memory, music, and the small, mysterious moments that remind us we’re never truly alone.
